Michael McIntyre has announced his first UK Arena tour, , he will tour the UK in the Autumn 2009 taking in the big arenas across 12 Live UK Dates.
Michael McIntyre had the best selling DVD this christmas and he also has a new BBC One show starting in the spring called McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.
The tour starts at the Cardiff CIA on September 23 and ends with a live date at the Brighton Centre on November 5. However, promoters expect to announced more arena dates before the tour starts. Due an unprecedented surge in ticket sales after the success of his hit BBC One Saturday night show Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, comedy sensation Michael McIntyre is set to play a staggering 49 arena dates this autumn, including five nights at Wembley Arena and four nights at the O2 Arena.

Michael took the comedy world by storm last year selling out shows around the UK, including an impressive five nights at London’s Hammersmith Apollo. His hugely successful debut DVD release, Michael McIntyre Live & Laughing, became the fastest-selling debut stand-up DVD of all time, selling nearly 650,000 copies to date and reaching the number one spot in the comedy DVD chart the week of release.
