Alton Towers annual Halloween special is back, The Alton Towers Resort Scarefest is a must for any theme park fan. The whole of Alton Towers park is transformed into a world of ghosts and ghouls and trick or Tweet fun for all the family.
The Alton towers park openbs at 10am and stays open until 9pm, from 17th October – 1st November 2009. The entrance fee allows you to ride all rides as many times as you like.

• Terror of the Towers: The spectacular Gothic Towers at Alton towers are possessed by evil forces will you dare to enter? tjis attraction is not suitable for under 14 year olds

• Trick or Treat Doors – Here are greeted by Millicent, Molly and Meg at their spell induded 3 door cottage, will the witches shower the kids with tricks or treats.
• Scarefest Characters – Lots of spooky halloween characters will be spotted around the park including
Patch, Franklin, Skelvin and Phil will be roaming the Resort.
• Duel: Live! – This is a scary manor house which is situated in the Gloomy Wood. the creepy house is the home to spooky spirits – dare you go inside?
Pumpkin ratings will be applied to each Halloween attraction at the Resort to highlight their spook factor, making it easy for parents to choose the attractions most suited to their child’s age.
The fun continues into the evening over at the two Resort Hotels, with spooks and scares to suit all ages. The Alton Towers Hotel becomes inhabited by witches this Halloween, so join in the hocus-pocus and be on the look out for spells and potions….and of course hats and cats! Check into the specially themed Trick or Treat rooms** and challenge the family to discover the hidden prizes…or forfeits! With goody bags for the children and free spooky movies for the duration of your stay, these rooms are extremely popular so book early to avoid disappointment.
