The Arctic Monkeys are back. Sheffields finest are to play 2 huge homecoming concerts at Don Valley Stadium in the steel city home of the Monkeys. The Arctic Monkeys special shows will take place in a magnificent custom designed tent in front of 40,000+ fans. Tickets for Arctic Monkeys are on Sale now. Support at the Arctic Monkeys shows will come from Miles Kane, The Vaccines and Sheffield band, Dead Sons.on the Friday and On Saturday 11th June Miles Kane will return and be joined by Anna Calvi and another Sheffield band, Mabel Love.
The Arctic Monkeys are excited to do these 2 live shows they said we?re really looking forward to playing Sheffield with our special guests. Its great doing our own event and it?s going to be a wonderful couple of days in our hometown.
The Arctic Monkeys have a huge following thanks to the way they broke through, rather than the usual Music Industry PR, they built their following via the internet via sites like Myspace, and then word of mouth increased their following.
