The Sheffield band will be touring the UK and Ireland this winter – with a stop-off in London planned for November 18th – in support of their brand-new third album Humbug.

A follow-up to 2007′s Mercury Prize-nominated Favourite Worst Nightmare, which also scooped Best British Album at the 2008 BRIT Awards, the new record features the hit single Crying Lightning.

Upon its release at the end of August, Humbug stormed straight to the top of the UK album charts, outselling the rest of the top five combined in its first week with a massive 96,000 copies sold.

Arctic Monkeys have been one of the hottest properties in indie rock since bursting onto the scene with their number one single I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor.
