Andy Bell and Vince Clarke are one of the most successful UK duos of all time.
Last year the band had their 29th consecutive UK Top 40 hit with the single Oh
L'Amour re-mixed, from Hits! The Very Best of Erasure.
Erasure have recently completed work on a brand new album, Nightbird, due for
release in Jan 2005. 2003 saw Erasure release a Best Of Compilation and Other
People's Songs, an album of covers, both of which hit the UK Top 20, and in the
past two years Erasure have released three Top 20 singles. Nightbird will be the
first album of original material since 2000's acclaimed album Loveboat and will
be preceded by a single, Breathe.
