The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in a pre-season game at London’s O2 Arena on October 4th. The La Lakers are the current NBA Champions and last played outside of the US way back in 1991 in Paris. The NBA Europe Live tour will also see LA LAkers take on FC Barcelona, three days later, in a game that will see Pau Gasol meet his former club.
Minnesota, who have one of the worst records in the NBA this season, lost 92-81 to the Boston Celtics in London in 2007 as part of the league’s annual Europe Live event. The NBA returns to London for the fourth consecutive year as the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in NBA Europe Live London 2010, presented by EA SPORTS at The O2 on 4 October 2010.
