The Parklife Festival 2010 takes place at Platt Fields Park in Manchester on Saturday 12th June 2010. The Parklife 2010 Festival will host over 40 acts across 6 stages and arenas. The Parklife festival is part of the Platt Fields Parks 100th Birthday celebrations.
The Parklife Festival line up includes huge bands and artists including Calvin Harris, Friendly Fires, Vitalic, Erol Alken, Kissy Sellout, High Contrast, Andy C, Roni Size, Booka Shade.
The festival will see stages hosted by some Manchester’s top promoters including The Warehouse Project, Mad Ferret, Trof, Now Wave, Ape and Metropolis.
England’s Opening match of World Cup 2010 against the USA will be broadcast live to the Parklife crowd on a giant screen close to some of the main arenas.
There will be other suitable football entertainment taking place in this area throughout the day including a celebrity 5 a side match, some impressive freestyle football showcases and of course on the catering front we have, tea, pies and Bovril. Come on England!
